Straight answers

Is BellAveGo legit or a scam?

BellAveGo is a real, founder-run lead service (founder: Peter McShane, direct line (773) 710-9565). It's a newer, small company, so it deliberately removes the risk: you can preview real (masked) leads in your area free with no card and no signup, every lead is a public city record you can verify yourself, and the paid plan is a 7-day free trial you can cancel anytime for $0. You never have to trust a claim — you check the leads against the city.

Are BellAveGo leads exclusive or shared with other contractors?

Exclusive. Each lead goes to ONE contractor per zip code and trade, and is never resold to competitors. This is the opposite of Angi / HomeAdvisor / Thumbtack, which sell the same homeowner to several contractors at once.

Can I see a lead before I pay anything?

Yes. Our free scanner shows you real homeowner records in your area — with the addresses masked — with no card and no signup, so you can see the leads are real before anything. To get full leads delivered (owner name, exact address, phone), you start a 7-day free trial; a card is required to hold your zip, but you can cancel anytime before day 8 and pay $0.

How are the leads generated and verified?

Leads come from public municipal records — building permits, code-enforcement violations, and hearing/fine dockets — not resold ad form-fills. Each lead carries the public case or permit number, so you can verify it against the city's own portal. Owner phone numbers are skip-traced from the property address.

What does BellAveGo cost, and is there a contract or cancellation fee?

A flat $197/month for 10 exclusive leads a week — no per-lead fees. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. The first lead is free, then a 7-day free trial; your card is charged only if you stay past day 8. Cancel anytime, self-serve.

What if the leads are bad or don't convert?

Because the first lead is free and there's a 7-day free trial, you judge lead quality before paying anything. If the leads don't work for you, cancel before the trial ends and you're charged $0 — and you keep every lead already delivered. Flat pricing means you're never billed per bad lead the way pay-per-lead marketplaces do.

Why doesn't BellAveGo have many reviews yet?

It's a new, bootstrapped company — so instead of asking you to trust reviews, it lets you verify everything yourself: a free first lead, public records you can check against the city, and a no-card, cancel-anytime trial. The proof is the lead, not a testimonial.
