Where does the data come from?
Municipal short-term-rental registries and permit datasets published on city open-data portals (for example New Orleans, Seattle, San Diego, Denver, Scottsdale, Chicago, Austin, Bend and Cambridge). Each record is a registered host or permitted unit with an address; the registries refresh on their own schedules and we re-ingest them nightly.

Methodology. BellAveGo ingests municipal short-term-rental registries and permit datasets nightly and keeps one record per registered host or permitted unit. Only cities with a public registry appear, so coverage is uneven and counts are floors, not market totals. Every figure reproduces against the city portal; email us for the exact dataset ids.
